Our roots run deep, stemming from the legacy of our great-grandfather, the former owner of the renowned Mbogo Coffee Farm in Lower Kabete, Central Kenya, which ceased operations in the 1980s. We are committed to honoring our heritage, championing sustainability, and making a positive impact on the communities from which we source our coffee.

Mbogo Coffee works closely with farmers to grow and market coffee using sustainable and climate-smart methods. Our commitment to exceptional quality involves sourcing the finest beans from sustainable and ethical Kenyan sources, ensuring each cup delivers an extraordinary sensory experience. We believe in empowering our partners, fostering collaboration, and promoting transparency throughout our supply chain.

Our project, Warembo na Kahawa, aims to empower women coffee pickers by providing them with additional income opportunities. Women constitute a significant portion of coffee pickers in Kenya, yet many face financial challenges during off-seasons. Through Warembo na Kahawa, we provide training and support to produce organic fertilizer or compost, which they can then sell back to coffee farmers. This initiative not only improves livelihoods but also promotes sustainability and community development.
